WORLD CUP 06: What top notch European coach could the USA hire?
I honestly believe this World Cup will be Bruce Arena's last as coach of the U.S. National Team. Now, don't get me wrong. Arena is an excellent coach and has brought the U.S. team up to new heights but unfortunately, we need to crack Europe and U.S. Soccer has not done that. I think we could use a top-flight European coach and more European based players to sort this problem out. I would love to see Sven-Goren Ericsson or even Arsene Wenger take over as a coach. Anybody have any other names?

1. Guus Hiddink
He is a dutch coach who took South Korea to the semis 4 years ago and he is now coaching Australia who is looking pretty good after defeating Japan.

Hiddink was coach of the 1998 dutch team which also looked great. I think he would be able to do so much with the US prospects in the 2010 World Cup.
