12. Please have some courtesy
Many people visit this board from many time zones. It doesn't hurt you to simply post the game title and announce a spoiler in the thread, for those people in time zones that will watch the game on time delay.

People are not necessarily asking this for themselves. I watch the games live, but I have sympathy for those who cannot. Please announce a spoiler for those people. It's common courtesy.

13. It was so rude of me, I'll admit. But I am by nature a rude person.
Now I'll don my Deutschland cap and slink out of here, free of any further soccer posts so that you can sit with your can of Budweiser in your Lazyboy and watch the taped delay.

Ciao, and viel gluck. You will need it.

Go Germany!

4. Please, please EVERYONE
When posting scores include *SPOILER* in the subject. I watched the game but dammit, what fun is it to watch a game if you want the final score?

6. It's nice to see the US cares about soccer.
I'll try not to give away the US v. Tschechien tomorrow, or US v. Italien 17 June.

7. Why don't you go back and edit your OP subject line
so people who you haven't ruined the game for still might be surprised by the outcome.

11. I thought today was the 11th.
Well, damn. Now I can't get caught up on my sleep.

They're playing in Gelsenkirchen.

The Aussie contingent is camped out in Kaiserslautern. The local council has set up a camp site with hundreds of 4-bunk tents along the river. They are having a "ball."

14. My relatives in Aussie are ecstatic!
But I'm sorry for friends in Japan. I had mixed feelings about this game.
