bad breakup, my brother gave me some advice. When a new relationship starts, he said, don't think of her (or him) as 'the one' and don't even think of it as a relationship. Think of it as a vacation. Have fun, enjoy yourself. Someday, the vacation will be over.

So I tried it with the next woman I went out with.

I ended up marrying her, so eleven years later...I'M STILL ON VACATION!
