Contrarian Solidarity Post! Who else has NEVER viewed the Kudzu thread?

I spend most of my DU time in GD, and the Kudzu thread had
over 200 posts the first time I saw it.

"200 responses? Reason enough to avoid it!", said the part of my
brain that holds my childish, irrational fear of being lost in a crowd.

Anyone else never viewed it?
And, if so, then why not?

1. I never looked at it

and when the kudzu craze started, I even hid it. I just can't see any reason why to post in that thread. Maybe I am missing out but somehow I doubt that. :shrug:

2. I have made it a point to never look at one

The lounge is funny sometimes. Dumb stuff can sometimes catch fire in here and it never seems to go away. About a year ago posting "kleeb" or some variant of it was the "in" thing. Hopefully, it will die out soon.

And, you know, I was more guilty than most of perpetrating
and perpetuating the short-lived "Brazillion Joke"
craze...

I explained to my sweetie (at length) how that phenomenon was so
utterly brilliant simply because it fully recognized
its inherent "beating-a-dead-horse-ness", and took PRIDE
in it.

And then I turned right around and continued sneering
at everyone who "follows the crowd"! :rofl:

What exactly about it bothers people? It's just one simple thread that can easily be hidden. Do people just need something to complain about sometimes?

It looks like there are several of us here who
