How many other guys do most of cooking
in their house.Just checking to see how odd it is that I do most of the cooking at our house.I enjoy cooking but hate cleaning up.The wife says as long as I cook she'll clean.Seems fair to me.

1. I do one night on the weekend and if I get home early...
...one the weekdays. Been known to do a few loads of laundry too.

2. I do it all
Of course I am single :)

But when I still lived at home I did a lot of the cooking for the family. When I was living with my ex I did all the cooking for her and me. A lot of the men I know do the majority of cooking in the family.

3. I cook
I do most of the cooking around here by choice. I also do all the grocery and household shopping.

(Hint: make her real happy, clean as you cook)

6. When my boyfriend comes for one of his extended visits
He does all the cooking and I do all the cleaning. When he isn't here, I just eat cereal and soup. One bowl, one microwave.

7. I do, or did before I separated. Actually, I guess I still do, but since I
don't cook for my wife anymore, it seems kind of like a different thing than what you were getting at, if you know what I mean. Like, I cook, but who else would do it, you know? My cat? Riiigggghhhhtt. Anyway... Oh, never mind.

BTW, my wife always said she would clean if I cooked. She never did!!!!!! I just wanted to get that off my chest.

for myself and my roomie (female). I clean up, too. I'm hoping some hot celebrity might need a houseboy someday. (Demi...call me!)

11. I don't
I bow to my spouse's superior culinary expertise. Once she downloaded all I knew about Mexican cooking, she no longer allowed my to cook anything (I cook well, but I'm a very messy cook).

She allows my sons to cook; one is the outdoor grilling and Russian food expert, the other does Italian and Japanese.

I only get to cook when we do a Cajun deep fried turkey, or a crawfish boil.

12. Me
My wife hates to cook and had a poor role model anyway.

Here is an one of her mother's actual recipes.
Chicken Jubilee.
Take one whole chicken and place in roasting pan. Open one can or fruit cocktail and pour on top. Roast until no juices come out of chicken when poked with a fork.
Serve chicken with drippings from the pan (this is called gravy)
Make sure it is a Kosher chicken so it comes out extra dry.

14. My ex did most of the cooking.
But he was a professional chef so...

That is one reason why I say don't regret your exes. You learn from them. If not for my ex I'd still be cooking outta the microwave. :D

20. I do 98% of it.
I am home in the afternoon's so it only seems fair that I do it. I like cooking and trying new recipes. Cleanup sucks, but it's all part of it.

he's really good with Indian and Thai dishes, I do the more conventional pasta and chicken type stuff, and he also cleans up better than I do.
