I took my dad to an 8pm showing of it in Princeton NJ. It was at a small theater right across from the campus. I'd say it was probably half full which is not bad considering it was a Monday and also the day before their commencement.
I don't know what to say about this film that hasn't already been said. It was truly one of those eye opening movies, which is strange because Al is essentially preaching to the choir when it comes to be but I couldn't help but be frightened by the barrage of facts he put fourth. I really hope this movie gets a wide national release because I know it will open people's eyes, not just about global warming but about Al Gore himself. Even my dad who had reservations going into the movie said that his personal opinion of Gore has improved, he isn't as "stiff" as he once appeared (his words, not mine).
I guess this movie just stressed the importance of taking over congress this fall and the White House in 08 because if we keep oil men in office, we are all fucked!
