pathological nicetude. Seriously. The last three or four days, I've been wandering around bestowing compliments on the general public at large with abandon. What is wrong with me?? I'm losing my edge, damnit. I want to be sullen and withdrawn again.

There has to be a remedy for this craziness. Here are some possible ones I thought up a few minutes ago. Please help me choose one, Loungers.

2. If you need a picture of Ann, I've got a scan of her latest book...

3. I envy your sudden attack of unexpected nicetude,
however, I remain as sullen and pissed-off as ever.

If you wanna get your 'tude back, you could always go argue with my Bushbot family, pictured here:

They're over-the-cliff hopeless - maybe you can talk some sense into 'em!

who, for the most part have taken it relatively well, although I'm sure a few have privately thought, "WTF is she on?"

It would be nice to be able to embrace quiet normalcy again, at least.

6. what I wonder
is how many others are gonna post in this thread,
hoping to have some of the scraps of niceness that are falling off of your table?
Besides me, that is.

8. Aw. And I love your icon, by the way.
Niceness is fine, but pathological niceness is...not always the smartest thing.

7. You can do both
Just takes some skill and practice. I'm thinking of offering classes in "How To Be Nice Friendly and Caring While Being Sullen Withdrawn and Moody". I m also considering advanced classes in "Bitchiness".

Khash.
