I got ripped with Charlie Daniels...
Shortly after his "Uneasy Rider" hit.

I was working backstage control (great job) and liason for the band.

I climbed into the van with him after the concert and he pulled out a joint and told me to fire it up. Shortly after that, we did a bunch of "Green Mesc." We had a blast.

He was a great guy back then.

He, me and a few members of his cast and crew went to a local park and...

Well, we won't talk about that now.

Anyway, he's a bullshit cocksucker that took his pic with Jimmy Carter and now wants to be Bush Jr.

Fuck you, Charlie!

2. What year was that?
Charlie Daniels is a talented musician. Nothing more, nothing else.

I still love "The Devil went down to Georgia."

4. It was in the 70's
I'd have to go back to a discography to figure it out.

9. If ya can,
you should check out a song called "The Devil Comes Back to Georgia" on a Mark O'Connor album called "Heroes." It features O'Connor on fiddle, Johnny Cash (vocals,) Travis Tritt and Marty Stuart.
It's a tribute/companion/sequel to "The Devil went down to Georgia," and is very delightful and good music, rocks like the original.

I cannot post it, but do try to find it!

3. Come on, you can tell us what happened in the park
you don't want to leave "that" to our imaginations.

7. My Mom's friend Mary did the entire band once around 1985-1988
Their bus was in the lot of the Parsippany, NJ Hilton along Route 10, and Mary did it on a dare.
