My pants just don't seem to be ironed to my satisfaction.

1. Find someone else to do it. That's what I do.
Bribe them with alcohol. Pay them. Whatever it takes.

2. I used to know how to iron.
I can remember the steps for men's dress shirts, but dang - pants? do you like a crease?

Seems like you set the legs flat with or without crease, press them on both sides then work the upper part/waistband etc all around on the narrow end of the board???????

My grandmother had these strange metal pant stretchers she used to use to dry my grampa's Levi's. I still have them, but never bother.

5. Get a steamer. I was given one as a Christmas gift and it has been
a life saver. It even has a crease attachment. I whip through the wrinklies in no time. I also use it to wash the walls. Nothing beats hot steam as a cleaning fluid. :hi:

I learn something new around here every day. :-)

Well, I did use a low setting once to remove old wallpaper in my bathroom.

11. Pull them out of the dryer while slightly damp
and hang immediately.

Today's Washington Post Home section had an article about ironing. They seemed to favor a steamer iron that cost close to $400. I'd give you the link but I hate having to enable the Post's blasted cookies to get on their website.

12. Fill a spray bottle with water.
Having steam come out of the iron usually isn't good enough. When I apply water directly and then use the iron to dry off the pants, it seems to come out a lot better.
