Dream experts....I have a question
Edited on Thu Dec-11-03 02:32 AM by HEyHEY
I had a dream, more of a nightmare, I brutally beat two friends to death. I made nice and when their backs were turned..I did it. What the hell does that mean?

It spooked the crap out of me. All I can think is that it's two friends I haven't been able to speak to since I decided to move, despite trying to contact them. I woke up all shakin and spooked.
Hope this thread doesn't make anyone think I'm a nutcase.

2. disregard the voice of Gilbert Gottfried as your dog commanding murder
that's the best course of action.

Sometimes a brutal dream murder is just a brutal dream murder, said Ziggy Somethingorother.

5. Some guesses...
Are you afraid you've hurt them? Do you think that by moving--or during the move--you somehow "stabbed them in the back" or caused the relationship to end prematurely?

14. Feel guilty about leaving?
Are you leaving because they failed to support you in some way?

Are you angry and guilty about the anger? Does your handwriting suddenly slant left?

12. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Most modern Psychologists don't interpret dreams the way Freud did in the old days.. *Well, okay, some of the self-help people still do, but most of them aren't as respected in the professional community* If you're having these urges while you're awake, then I'd worry.... Otherwise, don't sweat it, we all have creepy dreams sometimes. :)

17. buy-bye to friendships is what your subconscious is afraid of
Sheesh, that's so simple I can figure it out in a heartbeat. It means that you're afraid you've terminated the friendships by moving. Death in dreams doesn't mean death. It just means "the end." Your subconscious is afraid the friendships are over and due to "your own hand." The message is that a) the friendships mean more to you than you're willing to admit and b) this is of your own doing.

Don't throw logic into the equation (meaning the fact that you've tried but failed to connect, which happens all the time in communications). The subconscious doesn't care about the niceties of trying or the logic that somebody's out or busy or can't return the call for any other good reason. Bottom line is that this part of you needs and wants to hear from them.

Cher
