If your family and/or church is so uptight that your kids don't feel comfortable coming to you to talk about sex and they must resort to finding their information online, well I'd say that's a pretty poor reflection on your parenting skills.

As an aside, any person who looks up "oral sex" online, sees a representation of gay sex (or any sexual act) and immediately connects the image with "children!" is projecting some pretty serious issues, IMHO.

If you are going to let your kids online then

a) you're going to supervise it,
b) you're going to filter it,
and c) you're going to know about it too.

I know what my niece does on the computer. I know what my son does on the computer (she plays The Sims and checks her email, and does some chat thing which I know is moderated heavily ... my son plays Dora the Explorer and we visit - with him - to nickjr.com or other game sites with him).

If I wanted to look up oral sex I wouldn't use wikipedia as my first resource. I might google for other pages to find out some other sites that might give me some good tips.. but nope, Wiki isn't the source for me for that.

I also read the referring thread... they say that nazi-ism and fascism isn't right wing, and not to rely on Wiki. Well Wiki cites other sources, and one of them sources shows that the political spectrum could be more like a circle. To this extent I can agree, because extreme communism as practiced by Stalin has more in common with Naziism which is really Fascism. If communism is extreme left and fascism is extreme right, then communism can be extreme right and fascism can be extreme left. Does this make sense? So perhaps we should call those on the other side commies and fascists because they're the same politically - i.e. extremeists?

If I had a preteen, I wouldn't want him or her viewing pictures of oral sex on the computer. I probably wouldn't make a huge deal of it if I caught the child at it, but I would also likely have some kind of screening on my internet service to help ensure that they don't get hold of this stuff.
