I once had a job where we used blenderized human brain
Seriously.
I worked in a hospital coagulation lab in the early 70s in the UK. We had to do a blood test for people on the blood thinner coumadin, they get their blood tested about every1-2 weeks to make sure their blood is not too anti-coagulated (for people with the heart condition atrial fibrillation).
Anyway, the reagent we used came from human brain and my boss had to go down to the local mortuary about every 6 months, get a good brain (not from Abby Normal!), bring it back to the lab, put it in a blender and make up a new batch of creamy goodness.
Just thought I'd share that with you!

2. Cool
At least that way outweighs my bio lab experience, which was mushing up E. Coli to extract its DNA. It was stored in the lab's freezer in the sort of cardboard pint containers you'd normally associate with ice cream, which led to endless icky thoughts and repetitions of one particular not very funny dirty joke.

I was also supposed to grow some other bug in big 5 gallon carboys of culture medium, but so bad was my lab technique that I *never* got an uncontaminated sample. That's why I work in IT nowadays rather than a real world skill :D

4. I knew a lady who had a shunt on her brain
the shunt would pump the extra "brain fluid" into her stomach. So, whenever she burped, she would taste her brain!
