3. A wise person once told me
that you can start all over, not only when you wake up in the morning,
but in the middle of the morning, middle of the afternoon, i.e. anytime
you like.

When things get me down, I remember that.
I tell myself, " turn this crap around-it's going to be alright!"

It works most of the time.:-)

5. The beach was beautiful but a bit windy tonight
I saw some dolphins frolicking in the waves and found some tarballs.

My shoes got wet in the waves.

:hi:

6. I always try to put things in perspective when I'm down.
I think that I've probably got a better life than 99.9 percent of humans on this planet, yet, millions of those people who struggle with poverty, illness, even starvation seem to have a positive outlook on life (often more positive than mine). They embrace living and appreciate what they do have.

Oprah would say to start making a list of what you're thankful for ... It couldn't hurt!

7. Here is something for you.
Every plant, animal or man that dies only adds to nature's compost heap.
Life has no purpose, no design.

Sleep tight!

8. All things shall pass.
In time, there shall be a new Ice Age, and the ice will retreat, and a new civilization will form, and nothing we have done will effect it in the least.

Also, nobody's trying to be evil. We're all just following our own ideas about how things should be. So....Peace!

9. "Don' t take life so
seriously, you won't get out of it alive." B. Bunny

Well, maybe not so helpful. When I get down I look to my curiosity. There's always something interesting - a new book to read, the great posts on DU...
I try to look beyond the horizon of where I am.
