I'm looking at something colored yellow on top
and a different color on the bottom.

What could that be?

I'll respond when a correct answer is given (or maybe a particularly creative one)

3. The King in Yellow

Robert W. Chambers
(1895)

Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa

Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa

Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.

Song of my soul, my voice is dead,
Die though, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa

Cassilda's Song in "The King in Yellow" Act 1, Scene

24. hey, fellow KiY fan!
it's fascinating to watch the characters as they get engrossed in a play called "The King in Yellow"--until you realize YOU'RE engrossed in a book called "The King in Yellow."

12. A sunny-side up fried egg?
If it were an egg, it could create a chicken, which could create another egg.

Assuming it's not fried, of course.

I mean, perfect. It's gotta be the answer. It fits all the clues and hints and is funny as hell.

If GURUving says it's not, can we create a poll post to vote Paris Hilton as the answer?
