Will you marry me?
I'm sure I'd eat dinner at a more reasonable hour if I were married - plus I'd have some help in doing the dishes. Any takers?

6. I don't? How are you certain?
I've been afraid of them since the assault on me at age 15.

Doesn't mean I'm not attracted to certain types of women...

Or am I not?

Maybe I am just confused. You've got a point.

19. At any given point almost we'll have...
an almost completely bare refrigerator except for large amounts of soda and organic milk & orange juice. However, in the pantry we'll have 10 different kinds of cereal and 234872398427 cans of baked beans. She keeps buying cereal because "we eat so much" although we only "eat so much" because it's all we have. No one knows why she buys so many cans of baked beans, because we've never seen anyone in the household eat baked beans.

25. She's fairly nuts.
But essentially, she just has no culinary skills at all. My real dad was a chef, so she never had to cook ever really. He didn't work as a chef, but he went to the Culinary Institute. My stepdad likes to eat out. So basically, she never had to really cook. I moved back home, but I refuse to contribute food to the house because with four other people, it gets eaten before I ever get to it.

But I have no issues in the kitchen! I used to be a broiler cook at a supper club--plus about a dozen other restaurants so I've got ya covered! B-)

32. Yeah, actually I DO do the dishes.
I'm a little casual about "decor" but I keep a clean kitchen. Some hot dishwater on a cold day can actually be relaxing.

In my younger "barbarian nomad" days I and my roommates were complete pigs, so I learned well and truly how important it is to stay on top of that stuff! I've at least reformed myself in that fashion. B-)

but I have to finish my master's thesis, so it'll take awhile--plus my lease goes on for a few months yet.

Should we try the long distance thing for a bit and see how it goes? I will be looking for a new career-type gig soon so a move ain't out of the question!

Are you willing to learn how to kayak? That's pretty crucial for me. ;)

Oh yeah, how close do you live to the skookumchuck river?

summer (I'm pretty close to the great lakes, so it will effectively be sea kayaking.

You can use my sig pic as an aid in teachinng yourself how to have a bomb-proof roll.

If you're really hungry, I might have to talk you down like an air traffic controller. Quick, do you have worcestershire sauce handy? Splash some on whatever meat or veggies you want to have as your entree and start marinading 'em right away--it does take long. Start heating your oven too, shake a few shakes of almost any reasonable spice (skip the anise, for example) over the top of the entree just before you throw it in the oven. The temp you want is sorta flexible 400 F is in the ballpark though.

When it looks like it's done--it's probably done! If you have any bread (Italian/french orks best, but you might have to improvise) butter it and put it in the oven with a little garlic for a few minutes. I like mine crispy--but again that's up to you. Throw in some canned or frozen veggis and you ready to rock! B-)

Even if I lose this, it's important that you not starve! :D
