A Guy Question to go with all this Boob Talk
How much of what your s.o. says — i.e. "I like them just the way they are" — is a factor in how women feel about their breasts?

I ask because I think a lotta guys have the idea that it's All About Us, and if we like them, you'll relax and forget all this bigger/smaller/higher stuff.

I used to think that. I don't anymore.

What say you?

1. My wife knows I like her huge ta-tas.
But she doesn't. No matter how much I like 'em, I'm not the one who has to lug 'em around all day. ;)

2. Self image is a complicated issue, I think
and if a woman has a good one it doesn't really matter what the SO says, and if she doesn't he isn't going to change her mind anyway.

3. It's a factor.
Sure, there's definitely a cultural and media bias toward large breasted women (but only if they're tall, thin and not curvy on the bottom- a shape that doesn't occur often in nature) but it's somewhat easier to disregard that message when I hear that I'm pretty the shape that I am.

I won't speak for other women, but yeah, real-world feedback matters to me.

5. It's definitely cultural...
See my post below about my wife... and, certainly quite a few men must find Chinese women so attractive, as there are certainly enough Chinese people in the world!

4. My wife grew up in China...
So, I know it's definitely a cultural thing. After she had a baby, she went from a 32A to a 34C and she commented to me once, "Oh, my breasts look so big. I'm so embarrassed."

And, then she laughed and said all the American women would be jealous of her now...

So, I don't think my wife would care if I commented on her breasts or not, as she knows I find her very attractive.

6. It's a factor up to a point.
My husband can say things, and I appreciate his point of view, but if I don't agree with it, it ain't gonna happen. :P

7. It doesn't matter, but I know how much my hubby loves them b/c
he won't keep his hands off! Ever! It's like an obsession!! What's the deal?

8. They are what they are, whether he likes them or not.

If he likes them, hooray.

If not... oh well. Better luck next time!

9. Well, I've always liked mine
Not too big, not too small. Easy on the back but they look good in a wet T-shirt. I remember being relieved as a teenager when they stopped growing at a convenient point in size. And I've never had a complaint so all my feedback has been positive.

But then, I'm pretty self-confident all around.

10. Well, if I knew he hated them, it would hurt me.
But I care primarily about my own opinion, foremost, since it's my body and I'm the one living in it.

11. It likely helps a little.
But if a woman feels a certain way about herself, a man is not likely to change that opinion much.
