Poll question: What should I brew this weekend
Haven't made anything for a few months since I was waiting on getting some kegs.
I have an IPA and a barleywine and need to fill the third one

5. Blueberry sounds good
Since i've never actually had a berry flavored beer...

It's been a long time since i've brewed any myself. I suppose I should brew up a bunch of Belgian whitte beer seeing as summer is coming and all. I have to mix shandies.

6. A shandy made with whitte sounds good
the sweetness of the soda would off set the sour from the Belgian yeast. I made a ginger wheat for this summer but its half gone already.

7. definitely the red
If you've got an IPA and a barleywine then go for the red.

My personal opinion: Fruity beers suck! so no berries!

The smoked porter sounds good, but a little heavy for this time of year.

Me I've got a scottish 'export' ale carbonating at the moment which should be ready this weekend. (I can't wait!!). After that it'll be an IPA for the summer (or an ESB I haven;t decided yet).

Beer and fruit DO NOT go together.

9. Hear, hear! No weird spices, either. Malt, hops, water. That's it.

10. This is for my wife
I don't go for them all that much but she likes the framboise and Kriek stuff.

I have a fair amount of real ale right now. 10 gallons of the IPA, 4 of a 21% barleywine, 2 of ginger ale, 1 of nut brown and 2 of bitters.

11. well, that's completely different. go with the rasberry then
but what do I know, My wife doesn't drink beer at all.

It's great for keeping the homebrew all to myself, but a huge problem for justifying new equipment. 'really, dear I need this corny keg and co2 canister, and all these attachements.'
