Bush in the Amazon
George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Alberto Gonzalez, Karl Rove, Tony Scalia and Donald Rumsfeld were in the Amazon River basin searching for oil-rich countries to bring democracy to. It was a hot day and Bush saw the river.

"Hey guys, let's go swimming!"

The other five men didn't really want to, but they were afraid Bush would change their nicknames to "Poopy Butt" or something, so all stripped down to their shorts. Rumsfeld really didn't want to go in the water, so he told Bush that some sections of the Amazon are infested with crocodiles. Bush saw a man fishing alongside the river and yelled out, in his bad Spanish, "are there any crocodiles in this section of the river."

'No, senor, there are no crocodiles in this section.'

Everyone dove in. About fifteen minutes later Bush looked up and noticed that Scalia was nowhere to be seen. He yelled at the guy on the bank, "are you sure there are no crocodiles?"

'No, senor, no crocodiles.'

More members of his party disappeared and Bush kept asking the fisher about crocodiles. 'No, senor, no crocodiles.'

Finally there was only Bush left in the river. He stood up and asked the fisher, 'are you absolutely sure there are no crocodiles in this section of the river?'

The fisher told him, 'I tell George Bush the truth. There are no crocodiles in this section of the river and never have been. I tell anyone else in the world the rest of the truth: this section of the river is so infested with piranha, crocodiles won't come here.'
