Seriously. Why can't we ever focus on anything else? Just the mere THOUGHT of someone doing anything even remotely sexual makes us all :crazy: and :rofl:. And suddenly, making jokes about Hip Whip on DU is high entertainment.

What could be more decadent than our abject depersonalization of sex? You don't even have to do it anymore. You can sit around and watch other people do it. Sex is a surreal game-show where some people get lucky and some don't. Sex sells toilet paper. Sex gets job offers. Sex is what's for dinner.

25. Sex isn't on my mind at all, period.

No jokes, no magazines, no staring, no pictures off the internet, first and foremost is day to day survival, second is waiting for the day I can wake up and not see my country going down in flames, third is that my daughter is an adult and is leaving the nest soon (that really hurts) and fourth is how bad the economy is going to crash.

Sex is down somewhere near getting new shoelaces or pulling weeds. It just isn't interesting any more. And I'm not alone here.
