Happy Mother's Day, Moms! How was it?!
I wanna know what you got, or what the kids did to make it special. I also volunteer to call your kids and bitch them out if they didn't treat you right. And if you need a call and a hug, just let me know. I'm on free minutes on my cell until midnight. If you need some love from a kid, let me know. I'm here for ya.

2. My whole weekend was wonderful!
I sent MrSG to his parent's house for the weekend. No, I wasn't being mean -- I just really wanted some time for myself. Plus, he got to spend Mom's Day with his Mom and Grandmother.

Yesterday, my daughter and her fiance came over, and took me out to dinner (Thai food -- yummy!!). Then we stopped at the nursery and I used some of my tax refund to buy myself more flowers for the planters on my deck!! They gave me a candle in one of my favorite scents: pineapple cilantro. Sounds weird, but man, does it smell GOOD!

Watched my Mariners win in a 13-inning game last night, and in a regular 9-inning game today! Woohoo!

Spent lots of time on DU. A little time working.

All in all, a wonderful weekend, with gorgeous weather to boot!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

4. Good deal...
I'm so glad it was a great weekend. After you get your stuff planted, you'll have to take a pic and let us see the deck!

6. It was good.
Started off early and well: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=105&topic_id=5150197&mesg_id=5150197 and today I got the biggest hug from LeftyKid when I picked him up from his father's and he told me happy mother's day. He's being a very good boy today too.

9. How old is he?
It was nice that someone reminded him what day it was.

11. Both of my kids gave me cards with handwritten heartfelt
messages inside - I insist that they do it for their Dad and they finally get it and did it for me!!! These cards will be saved and treasured forever, they are the best gift I could hope for.:)
