Watch the Food Network at 3am when you have no food at your place, you're hungry, and you're broke.

I did that last night.

Don't do it.

2. Do you have food now? Did you shop today?

Do I need to find a DUer to bring you something to eat? Or are you in Oklahoma City? I'll be over in 30 minutes if you are. No one is allowed to starve on my watch. Is everything better now?

3. I'm fine now. I now have some money.
I got some take-out tonight. When I move into my new apartment this Wednesday, I'm gonna buy some groceries.

And no, I'm not in OKC.:)

4. Ok...But that's what DU's here for...
If you need something, ask. I'm sure someone in your city could help. Or give you some loose change for some ramen. :)
I grew up with a dad who made sure that everyone was comfortable, well fed, and not thirsty. It rubbed off.

5. I used to read menus
When I was poor and hungry I'd torture myself by reading takeout menus!

I'm glad you got some food now.
