4. I'm right outside DC and didn't feel anything...
And I've been in my basement the entire time, and put in enough years in SF to know one when I feel one, so I wonder what's up??

I didn't feel the one a few years back, which folks out in Manassas and further south felt also.

6. There was also just a small earthquake
in Cleveland County, Oklahoma that I just read about.

Odd, two earthquakes in this country in areas that aren't particularly quake prone. Hope everyone is ok.

23. Yes, but wasn't there
a huge mid-western quake centuries ago, before the area was populated? I don't remember when it was, but I think it changed the course of the Mississippi.

10. Chief Hillary Stamps Foot
Remember Techumseh after returning to Ouiatenon to find that his brother, the Prophet, had initiated and lost the battle with Wm. Henry Harrison? It's said that Techumseh stamped his foot and caused the New Madrid Quake of 1811. Al, what were you thinking, man?

18. Kids! This is amazing!
The information is up on this site already. When I was young, hi-tech was getting ice delivered to your door and finding out you could talk through tin cans and string.

9. That Was Me... I Was Exercising... Sorry.
But seriously... why do I always miss these things? I was awake... the house was quiet... and I live in Maryland. Why didn't I notice?
