Yes, i'm unemployed going on 3 weeks, no i really can't afford it. But can we afford not to? 5 years ago, if i had gotten laid off i'd probably have a job within a week.

People are pissed, and so am I.

5. I think this movement is more important than the pres. campaign

think about it. they have one goal-inform the public about all the BS that bush has pulled. that could do more to seed thoughts of doubt than someone who isn't even interested in the pres. campaign race.

I feel the MoveOn.org 'movement' is a more productive outlet for activism at the moment than the Dem primary campaign, as it is focusing on exposing the Bush regime to the general public.

Once the nominee is settled, though, MoveOn and the Presidential campaign will become different legs of the same animal, I think.

It will get tacked on to my student loan, of course, though not the one backed by the Feds, that's already spent. A little interest paid to support this cause is worth every penny, IMHO.
