Will someone please change JackMN's diaper for me?
I don't have the stomach for it, today, and SophieMN is whining and decrying the fact that "Jack is stinking the whole room."

:puke:

1. Sure
I'll be right over and consider it done.

Maybe that'll make it easier.

No really. . . maybe burn some insense or something.

Though that doesn't exactly create oxygen for the kiddies.

You can snuff it out when your finished with the whole endeavor.

Always done best when done quickly without injuring or traumatizing the toddler of course.

Good luck and godspeed.

Neither you nor he want an annoying diaper rash ya know?

2. Let Sophie do it if she wants it done so bad!
Kids these days... all they do is whine and complain but never take the initiative!

3. When she got up this morning, she told me that she had changed Jack's
diaper yesterday, and as Mr.LaraMN had childcare duty whle I was at class last night, I don't entirely doubt it.

5. Mr. LaraMN will just ignore it until the diaper rots off.
He's not real good like that.

6. Get Eldest Little LaraMN to do it.
Kids have to be good for something. I mean, you feed him don't you? Shouldn't he give a little back?

8. Hah! Last weekend I made him clean his room and the shithole den,
and I heard him bitching to himself about how "all I do ALL day is clean the stinking house!" Suck it up, buddy!

10. LOL. My son tells me routinely that he does WAY more around
here than I do. Because he takes out the trash, you know. :eyes:

9. He reads as well as he ignores and avoids.
You should see him when we have pukers on hand! He practically runs the other way.

11. Mr. Midlo is the same way!
When my eldest threw up in our bed many years ago, he ran from the room YELLING. It still makes me laugh at the thought of him disappearing down the hallway.

12. When I was in the hospital in labor, I told him I was going to throw up,
and he literally THREW a towel at me and ran away. I still laugh when I picture his utter look of terror.

14. And that my dear, is just one of many reasons men
aren't equipped to give birth.

15. Too bad!
Here's a gift idea for MrLaraMN. Maybe that would help. Guys like to feel brave when doing dangerous things (like changing diapers), and as well we know, it's all in the outfit!

13. If you were nearby I'd volunteer.
I love to babysit for friend's kids. Changed more diapers than I can count so that's no longer any big deal.

16. Aw! What a man!
I'm particularly impressed by childless people who aren't intimidated by caring for other people's kids.:-)

18. You see, we can take care of other people's kids
precisely because we don't have any of our own.

I've watched friends who were single moms kill themselves doing everything. Even when there are two parents, one energetic kid can drive them both nuts. If you've got multiple kids... whoa.

Compared to that, babysitting is a easy.

I have one friend, a single mom, whose kids I babysat for 7 years (until they moved to another state). I would show up on Friday and stay until Sunday so that Mom could have a social life. I miss Thing 1 and Thing 2.

The kids are spending the summer back here with their grandfather, so i'm going to get to babysit again throughout the summer.
:)
