My cousin had a baby!

Baby Anthony was born at 5 p.m. this afternoon weighing in at a little over eight pounds.

His original due date was April 27 and my cousin had to be induced.
Baby and mother are doing fine. This is the first baby for this cousin of mine.

(Tables of consanguinity confuse me, but I was half teasing about the once removed part... it's complicated but it depends on whether you share the same great grandparents or not)
