If you watch the conversation he goes along with whatever Mr. Letterman says, this is a common element in the accompanying symptoms of schizophrenia or schizophrenia spectrum disorders. He lies and he catches himself. I would not be surprised if he was lying about the soccer games.

I really shouldn't open up like this on the internet, but my aunt has schizophrenia and I have personal daily experience interacting with her. This is exactly what she does as well. She tells off the wall lies for no reason.

I have also watched people like Brian Wilson, who also has schizophrenia, and in his particular case he did the same thing in an interview with Charlie Rose about a Smile DVD. He and my aunt are both much worse than Mr. Cruise, but I wonder if Mr. Cruise isn't, if hasn't already, had a nervous breakdown.

You're just not supposed to turn the spores into mushrooms. It's not really an issue though unless you're caught selling them. It's kind of funny, since the spores don't contain any psyciblin (sp?), anybody at all can buy them in any state except CA and one or two others. I think it's way smarter to just grow some than to risk accidentally eating the wrong one from outside.
