5. LOL my sentiments exactly
AAAAARGH! I think this is Gore's way at getting back at the
D(f-ing)LC. Though I worked tirelessly for the Gore campaign I will not support a candidate endorsed by the NRA. If Dean gets the nod I guess I'll have to take an extended vacation. I'll follow the endorsement of the Brady Campaign....they sure won't back Dean.

13. Well, I've been on Zoloft for two years
now and will likely be on it for life, and to me it's no laughing matter, it's been, quite literally, a real lifesaver. It really isn't funny, guys.

17. I respectfully disagree.
I am taking Lexapro for a rather fierce generalized anxiety disorder and comorbid depression. It has been wonderful, and yet I have no problem joking about it. The drug companies have expanded their advertising routines to the point where they spend more money on ads than on research. That is definitely worth joking about, in my opinion. It's a subtle and effective way of disarming such advertising. Anyway, I respect your feelings, and I understand why you feel it's not a laughing matter. It is a lifesaver for many. However, I know plenty of folks who joke about their Zocor and insulin. I don't think my Lexapro is any different. But that's just my take on things.

14. I knew it wasn't worth the bother until primaries are over
I don't pick a candidate until I'm actually in the voting booth.

15. A little CBT might do wonders!
Much of the time, participation is the prize in democracy, even a pseudo-democracy.

16. Who Is Zoloft? What is he/she running for?
Edited on Tue Dec-09-03 12:47 PM by arwalden
I'm not too crazy about voting for someone with a Russian-sounding or Lithuanian-sounding or Greek-sounding family name. Could be commie inflitrators.
