"Meg Magoo" Everyday nickname

"Googa Malooga" which is a weird abstraction of Meg Magoo used when she's being really silly, especially when playing with her brother Ian (AKA Monkey Man).

"Megatron" when she gets stuck in an infinite loop and insists on being read "Go to Bed Fred" every second until she falls asleep. This can last hours.

"Megalon" When she's hurling her dinner off the table.

"The Shrieker" Usually applied between the hours of 2 and 5AM when she wakes up and won't calm down.

esp. early on.... eventually that came to an end, saints be praised.

Then it was the "I can get out of my toddler bed and sneak in a yell boo! every night" phase. Resulting in the "putting the babygate on the bedroom door tactic." The many phases of parenthood. Presently we are in the "why are you ruining my life?" phase. This one started early and I suspect will continue for a while. ;)

very very tired.

Meg has an ear infection so between Sunday last week and Saturday this week I almost got 20 hours of sleep. No more than two contiguous hours on any given night.

I've been writing like crazy too, and modding, so I am running myself ragged.

is resident in your fridge?(dunno if they give that to the wee ones, my son didn't get any ear infections ( and strep, hooray!) til Kindergarten and then I was about ready to swig out of the pink bottle, myself!)

Yeah, it bites when they are sick and parents walk around like zombie nurses.... Dana Carvey has a great video/routine about tired parents. Sorry if I'm repeating myself, but it's hysterical.

My son just turned 10 and I've been working a lot and going to conferences, husband just got a new job and I am trying to whip the yard into shape, so it's been a bit crazy.
