If you could live in van ........

Spending the whole summer camping in a van is not my idea of a good time. Put Penelope Cruz in the van, however, and the idea becomes more appealing. Matthew McConaughey likes the notion so much he has agreed to do it with her again, as they did last summer in Mexico. "Penelope likes the van," he told a British wire service.

we did camp from New York to Florida and back in a van one summer :) many years ago
sleeping in a double hammock tied between trees (or between a tree and the back-door hinge)

How's it going there in the Catskills? I used to love Spring time there. It's till kind of cold here in Maine. My friends in Rosendale sold their house and are moving up here in two weeks!

When we were talking on the phone last night he said he had so many butterflies in his stomach that he felt like a teenager again.
I totally agree with his feelings. The last time I saw him was 1979.


It's beautiful here! So much of the landscaping I've done over the last 10 years is finally paying off. :)

I'm sure that your landscaping is beautiful. My mom said she's been out getting her garden ready (she's over in Pine Plains area). My husband misses being over in New Paltz this time of year because he's a climber. We won't be back until September for my sister's wedding.

10. never lived in a van, but

I did live in a school bus. It didn't have wheels on it anymore, it was parked on a friend's property. My ex and I lived there with our dogs. We loved it. No running water, but we had an outhouse. We did have electricity and a small woodstove inside. Those were the days...

13. but that "van" is very cool...and very expensive. If they use the same

one he uses it's an Airstream...equipped to the eyeteeth. I'd live in it too. It's nicer than my house.

15. He drives it himself. I think he has an "entourage" when out promoting

movies, but i know he vacations in it on his own time.
