I'm just fricking fed up with this shit where they have a few new episodes and then weeks of reruns, pre-empts and this crappy "The Secrets of Lost" shit they had last night (which I didn't even bother watching). Why can't they do something along the lines of what HBO has where instead of trying to stretch 22 episodes throughout nine months just show them all back to back. Then when that show is over you can put ANOTHER new series in for the other part of the year.

Even the cable TV stations like FX, TNT and other cable stations use the SAME EXACT FORMAT. And btw, wonder why Reality TV is getting such high ratings - because they show them all right in a row instead of stretching the show (and the viewers patience) over a 9 month period.

It's bullshit, I've already gave up on Desparate Housewives (anyhow the Sopranos started again) but I've given up on Lost now. I still love the show but I'll do what I did with Season #1 and just rent the DVDs and watch them all in order that way (plus no commericials)

1. They need to do what 24 does
For the last couple of seasons, 24 has started the season much later than the other shows, in January, and are running the episodes to the end of the season without interruption. It's an awesome way to watch TV.

That is why I gave up on Lost a while back. I can't deal with all the reruns, I never know when there's actually a new episode.

Thankfully that's why the gods gave us Bit Torrent.

2. I gave up television long ago
Now I get everything I want to watch on DVD. Lost is definitly the type of show that DVD does best, your right to wait. Just make sure to stay away from threads discussing each weeks episode so it does not get spoiled.

3. The way the network handles "Lost" will be its downfall
I totally agree with you---"Lost" would be soooo much better if they just waited to show all the episodes in a row. Last night's clip-show filler was pretty freakin' lame, especially since they did that last season too. :grr: I'll watch the May episodes, simply because I've come this far and want to know what happens. However, if they keep up the BS for the third season, I'll just wait for the DVDs like all the other smart people. :D

ABC and the "Lost" producers are gonna kill this show if they keep it up.
