1. I don't know
Edited on Mon Dec-08-03 05:23 AM by La_Serpiente
no offense, but everytime I hear him or listen to his music, I see this made up, constructed image. It is as if he lacks substance.

2. I would'nt call him a twat -
I think he is just aggravated that he has not been able to crack the US American Market . Say you want you want but I have seen him tv from his concerts many times and he is ONE HELL OF A PERFORMER . I don't like any of the songs from his " Escapology " album - it sounds like he tried to hard this time around .

3. Yeah
I would see him on David Lettermen and he would try really really hard to interact with the audience.

I don't know, but British artists have a really hard time breaking the US market mainly because the US is so HUGE!!!. In the UK, you can just go to some large nightclub and everyone would know. However, America is something you have to be prepared for both mentally and physically and I think that is one thing some performers underestimate when they come here.

5. I think the problem is that they try to hard
Westlife , and other acts have had this problem . They automatically think that just because they made it in the UK that it will be easy in America. Sorry but you have to start all over buddy . I also hate it whenever an artist or a group does not make it , they start to call us Americans fat and lazy . Well then thats not going to help you either .

7. Oh, Westlife
The problem with MANY European artists is that the songs they make themselves big off of are ballads. In America, we don't want anymore Ballads - we've had our share. Also, they ALWAYS sing Elton John. Elton John plays nice music, but his music is not oriented toward an American youth audience.

8. Speaking of Westlife ...
Their current single now on the European radiowaves is a cover of Barry Manilow's " Mandy " ... happy happy , joy joy .

9. I usually can't stand arrogant performers....but with Robbie,
it's all part of his act, his image....and it makes me smile because it's so overdone!

He's a fabulous performer, and I LOVE some of his hits...

My favorite so far...."Feel" - which is still played all the time on radio here in Holland. Listen to this lovely ballad.

Robbie.....:yourock:
