Poll question: If Rod Stewart Week had actually been Rod Stewart Week on American Idol..
..instead of being a promo for his (Godawful) recordings of "American Standards," which performance of a classic Rod Stewart song by one of the remaining 7 would have reached the most dizzying heights of awfulness?

2. I don't watch "Idol", but...
they did COVERS of the standards HE covered? Cripes, that's a total copout if I've ever seen one.

I wonder why nobody covered the utterly atrocious "Love Touch", or the cloying "Young Turks"?

If they could get rid of about a third of the commercials, and then get Seacrest to shut up for twenty seconds.
