2. It was funny! O.K. So I am a little bored.
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the President his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, three Brazilian soldiers were killed."

"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"

His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.

Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"

15. * says "let's dance" - (decided two small blades are better, each
with a blade length similar to my forearm). Draws said two, kicks at the face with one blade covering the leg and the other the body *

10. Once a jolly SWAGman camped by a billabong, under the
shade of a coolibah tree. And he sang as he watched, and waited for his billy to boil, 'Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?'And he sang as he watched, and waited for his billy to boil, 'Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?'

I've wanted to say that for AGES! AGES AGES AGES AGES!

11. V. amusing.
My father used to sing that around the house all the time, and it is occasionally heard coming out of my mouth as well.

Thanks for making "Waltzing Matilda" my song of the day.

outside Bazzaland!
Glad to be of service! ;)

14. My father is a European mutt, but may have picked that song up
from his travels with the military. I think the song may have also figured prominently in a US movie of the 50s or 60s, but I can't remember the film I might be thinking of.

At any rate, my father still doesn't know with certainty what a billabong is, but there is enough information for him to make enough inferences to sort of figure out what it going on in the song.

Best to you.

16. ...
:headbang: Awesome.

Anyway,
1) Here in Aust, our country is very flat.
2) When water runs slowly, the rivers it forms look like /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ and when quick, ----------------------.
3) Because it is so flat, the rivers are slow and side to side, but when it floods it moves very quickly and goes straight, leaving some corners cut off, and gouges out new paths so more water does not return. There is a resulting cresent shaped body of stagnant (but mostly not unpleasantly so) water.

And that is called a billabong.
