American English dialects, good Wiki article.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_English_regional_differences

I grew up in Rural NW Minnesota, so my accent is pretty obvious

"Yozef? Are you done cleaning da barn?"
"No, but it's about two turds done."

:dunce:

2. Very cool
I got the inland north/rustbelt accent. In addition to everything they talk about there, I got the d/th meld (my "th" sounds tend to go close to d in words like "this" or "the"), and the weird y/a thing (for instance, chapstick becomes "chyapstick"). It's weird, because people from the city of Chicago or Milwaukee or Rockford have those markers, while people from the suburbs, at least in my experience, sounds different. They do weird things with their vowells.

3. I am SUCH a Californian
I have been told before that it's the THICKEST California accent ever in the history of California accents.

4. I'm definitely NE New Jersey.
I live more in the NW part now, but I'm a Hudson county kid. I always find it funny when other Hudson county people around here can tell I'm not from Morris county. Outside of NJ, I apparently sound New York.
