Saw this bumper sticker on a car in the parking
lot at work...

My co-worker looked at me and said, "that will be a sad day."
My response: "I don't understand how anyone who works for a paycheck can be a Republican."

FYI: This person lives in very white St Charles MO.

2. I'm not surprised that the coworker is from St Charles.
It's about as white as Johnson County, KS.

3. Prior to living in St Charles this person
lived in Jefferson County MO....can't get any whiter, ya know.

It boggles the mind though, when working class people think they are Republicans because together they and their spouse make around $100k a year. Jobs can come and go.

4. You're preaching to the choir here.
I live in Johnson Co, MO. I don't understand how so many low income people here can be so proud to vote Republican and feel proud to watch everything they've worked for go down the drain.

5. An African American co-worker said she
also cannot understand why so many white folks identify with the repugnicans.

I have a friend who DOES NOT have to work and she is very liberal. As a matter of fact, while I think everyone ought to get social security regardless of wealth, she thinks her very wealthy father should not be eligible because he really does not need it. I argue that once social security becomes needs based then it can be demonized, it is the universal nature of social security which makes it so popular.

6. I only hope the bumper sticker is right.
I am skeptical that it will be his last day. Hate to be a conspiracist, but I can't see this crowd giving up power voluntarily just because of that "piece of paper," the Constitution.

7. I hope his last day is a lot sooner than that.
I hope it's something like 5-31-07.

10. Last day? Mere speculation.
I'm hoping for sooner, and his entry into the history books as not only the worst pResident ever, but also the first to serve major jail time.
