My sister has a lump in her breast
The biopsy is scheduled for the 25th.

This one is hitting me hard. Of course we don't know anything yet, but this just wasn't supposed to happen.

My mom is a breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed just a few years ago, at the age of 69. My doctor told me that since she developed the cancer so late in life, my risk (as well as the risk to my sisters) was not any greater than it was if my mother had never had cancer.

Well, even though the risk was not GREATER, there 's still a risk. And yes, I know, my sister may not even have breast cancer.

But please, ladies, don't think that you're immune. Even with no family history, it can happen to you. Do self-exams often, and make sure you get regular mammograms.

Please send whatever positive energy, vibes, prayers, good wishes,.....

2. you (and she) have my very best wishes for a good outcome.
It may not be cancer. Even if it is, breast cancer is highly treatable, especially if caught early. Did she find out via a mammogram?

4. Yes, mammography caught this one
I'm told it's small, but the shape is very suspicious.

5. Sending my good vibes.
Wishing the best for your sister.

My mom found a lump in her breast about 2 years ago. She went to the doctors, had the biopsy and it was just a cyst. No cancer. She had to have the cyst removed but that was it.

Hoping for the best.
