An elderly guy contacted me a couple of days ago, via email, to tell me that he has a mound site on his property he wants me to look at. He included his phone number in the email, so I called him Friday, and we agreed to try to get together today to go look at the site.
He said he had a business meeting Sunday morning, but to call him Sunday afternoon, and we'd ride out to the site.
So I called him at about 2:30, and didn't get an answer. Here's the question:
Should I keep trying to phone him? Should I email him back and tell him I tried to phone him and missed him, and offer to go another day? Should I call another day?
I know he wants me to look at the site--he was very emphatic about that.
Maybe the business meeting ran long--he's a very busy man, that I know.
Here in the deep south it will be dark by 5:30, so I only have two hours of daylight left. I think today is shot. Best try for another day.
What do you guys think?
I usually just know what to do, but with this guy I want handle it ultra-correctly.
