If a recipe calls for milk, can you replace it with butter and water?

In food that might work.. in baking it probably wouldn't

In chocolate milk it would probably be a disaster :D

but coffee creamer in water can substitute, or canned evaporated or condensed milk

5. You could, it would taste a little funny and oily.

Just remember to use not that much butter.
If you want to go the extra mile, about 1/4 to 1/8 of an egg aswell, perhaps. :shrug:
