For example: Geez, NightTrain, how can you type with frostbitten fingers?

3. We only have about 3 feet so far -
and it's 29 below, so we're having normal weather. Are you in the Northeast? Looks like conditions there are rough!

4. 29 below?!

Where the fuck do you live, in Siberia?

Oh, and to answer your question: I'm in Connecticut.

13. Interior Alaska!
This is fairly normal for this time of year. The ice bridge will be open over the river soon (great shortcut) and the aurora have been extremely strong this month!

5. Are you a sucker for living in the snow?

6. No.

I lived for a while in both Southern Nevada and Central Florida; hated them both and returned to Connecticut, where I happily remain.

7. I used to live in Vegas
I would rather shovel a foot of yankee snow everyday than live w/o a change in season. How about you?

8. I was in Laughlin, Nevada...

...about 110 miles south of Las Vegas, right where Nevada meets Arizona and California.

During the year I lived in Laughlin, I came to despise the place. Nothing to do that would stimulate one's intellect; just casinos, desert, and right-wing fuckwads as far as the eye could see. Boy, was I glad to move out of that loser town!

9. Why Laughlin?
I worked in Primm, Nevada (AKA "stateline"), so I know what your talkin' about. Why did you live there?

12. Well....

My father had retired out there in the fall of 1993. A year-and-a-half later, I visited him and saw that he wasn't in the greatest of health. Dad also had no one to look after him in the event that his health took a severe turn for the worst. (I'm an only child, and my mother was already dead.)

So, I took it upon myself to relocate to that desert hellhole to keep an eye on my father. It was a good thing I did, too, because less than six months after I arrived in Laughlin, he had a stroke. If I hadn't been there for him, I don't know how the hell dad would've gotten by.

14. Just got my car cleaned off too.
They way the snow drifted, the entire hood of my car was buried under the snow and I was fortunate to be able to back it out far enough to get the front part of the driveway shoveled out. I think we might have gotten around 20" here (outside Boston). This sucks. Way too much, and way too early.

What music did you put on to thaw out by?
