Has anyone shown A cristmas carrol/Scrooge in your area

I checked the movie listings yesterday, and halfway through December there is yet to be a screening. AE did show scrooged and a modern version, but, I'm still waiting.
Could it be that the bushies are scared of the film? It does bring an awareness of the prolitariat underclass, the hunger, want, and impotense to obtain even the basics.
I have the old version with Alistair Sim on tape I'll bring out and watch later, but I think the version with George C. Scott is a very hard hitting, and maybe kkkarl ond georgie* are scared of the story.
