2. You reminded me of something

My mom smoked. Whenever she would smoke around me she would always offer me some even though she knew I didn't smoke. When I declined she would smile and say "It's always polite to offer." :)

She passed away last year and now I imagine her passing a huge doobie around with John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix. :smoke:

6. It's vastly overrated

It's hip cache owes more to its illegality and a bourgeois quasi-outlaw mythos than its merit. It's okay, but amounts to little more than a pleasant buzz with a case of the munchies thrown in. Plus, you gain a false sense of deep insight. (My shirt.. it's so blue!) Followed by fits of laughter sometimes, or a good nap at others.

I am all for legalization, however. It's not as bad as alcohol in many ways. Plus, once it's legal, it takes away at least half the "cool" quotient. And who's going to buy all those blacklight posters at Spencer's anymore? ;-)

So I say, go for it. But if you think it's the best thing since the wheel, that may be the ironic result of smoking the shit too much. :P

13. I think most of us get beyond

the "Oooo, it's cool because it's illegal" bit when we're about 22.

I haven't smoked in years because reefer has bitten me on the brain a couple times. But any lingering desire I may have to smoke again has nothing to do with hipness or illegality. I'd wager the same is true of most people who smoke it.

14. We just had the discussion "Seventies pot vs. today's pot".

We had some friends over for dinner. One of our friends was a huge pot smoker in high school and I also smoked my fair share. I mentioned that in high school, I could drink and smoke pot all night with no problem. Now, one hit of the Humboldt special blend and it is "good night Irene."

Our friend is the vice principal at a high school for troubled teens and she said that they are always catching kids smoking pot and confiscating it. They are supposed to turn the pot and kids over to the police, but she said they usually warn the kids and keep the pot. She doesn't smoke anymore but gives the pot to friends who still do.

I placed an order with her -- it will be interesting to see what I end up with.

27. I enjoy the hell out of smoking pot

I mean not to the point where I smoke massive amounts usually it's about 3 puffs and i am good.
My best friends brother's roll gargantuan hooters and almost chain smoke the dang things.
I think its a colossal waste of pot I mean how High can you get or need to be.
All in all it does relax you and is quite fun...
Just remember to have snacks on hand..Or pizza on speed dial
