STONE SOUP_____ whatya got?

My wife is making "cure all soup", a varied mixture including the use one of those apothecary mixing bowls. No worries.

Garlic
Onions
Carrots
Chicken
something I haven't seen yet
and the other one

I mentioned to her "Stone Soup" and she knew exactly what I was talking about. A great childrens' book about a guy who comes into town and tells the angry townspeople that he can make soup out of a stone, they end up contributing what they have and everyone has a good meal including the traveler who goes on his way. She told me that it was a liberal story of sharing and getting more than you gave. This is middle of road railroad daughter who has somehow seen the light

6. I've got thyme and sage and oregano
out in the garden. Just brush the snow off it and our soup will be great.
