Over the years, I have had the soundtrack on LP vinyl, cassette, and CD. I also have the 1973 film version on DVD. I can sing all the songs. It never gets old. :)

The other one that I remember so well (besides Short n Sassy, and Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific) was the Agree Shampoo commercial with a long haired hippie looking chick in the mountains--the caption read:

I really miss some of the stuff from the seventies, and don't really remember when it just sort of faded away.

How funny is that!

The number one thing I really miss is the cosmetic stuff---I loved some of those old perfumes that weren't so damned complicated like they are today---love's baby soft, and the coty stuff that was solid (photo in original post) "Sweet Earth."

The other thing I miss....but, I am not going to miss it for long...are those phones that were nailed into the wall; the ones that were so heavy you could beat the hell out of an intruder with, then continue your conversation. I have one, and by God, it dials too. I just need to get a new cord put into it, and I will be good to go.

I still keep Noxema in the house...can't live without it in the summer when everyone's getting sunburned 'cause they went somewhere and left their sunscreen at home.

Heh...and I've got a few 'antique' kitchen gadgets that I use, too. I've got a potato ricer that looks like some kind of dark ages torture device...but it works.

Skinny Dip cologne. I HATED that stuff, but a lot of people I knew wore it.



Flushable maxi pads. Eeeew. Those were not the best product I ever used. Great idea, but terrible performance. Maybe they'd do better now--I dunno. Felt like the cover was made with cheap toilet paper.


Stuff I have not thought of in YEARS. Also stuff that I really don't miss terribly--except the Mudd face mask--that did work.
