1. Grammer is so clown-ish.

2. Actually, I think he can pull it off
When I saw him in full makeup, I was half sold. He's not a bad actor when he stops being a pompous ass.

5. Pomposity is his milieu.
It's the Republican part of him that I have to get past.

7. Beast is kind of pompous...
I think Grammar is a near-perfect fit for the role.

4. beast is supposed to be very intellectual
So I think Kelsey was an ok pick.
I like him better than the actress they picked for rogue.
Although I think the actress playing jean grey was perfect

8. but not pompous.
*Geek Girl Alert*

Grammer is pompous. I don't see Hank McCoy sipping lattes with Niles at Cafe Nervosa. I hope he does well, and I've been wrong before. (Alan Cumming was actually okay). However, the casting is really hit or miss with X-men.

I agree with you about Rebecca Romjin. Mystique is supposed to be intelligent, devious, and complicated. Also, Nightcrawler's mom. The comic book Mystique would do something really unpleasant to the mute, mindless sidekick Mystique from the movies.

6. I first saw the trailor Tuesday after House
It looks phoenomenal. I'll just have to keep my bias of Kelsey's politics in check.

9. Excellent piece of casting...
...though he may be a bit old...but under the make-up, who can say? And Hank is the oldest of the X-Men... By the way--I bought X-Men #1, along with Avengers #1, way back in July '63 when JFK was Prez...anyone else out there who did...?

10. I semi-inherited one.
Does that count? I still have it, if that's worth anything. The X-men that is. :)
