To all residents at (my apt complex):
"To keep our property looking great, balconies and patios should be kept neat and clean. The following items are unacceptable for placement on the balconies or patios at your property.

Garbage Bags
Tires or Rims
General Clutter
Weights, weight benches
NON PATIO FURNITURE... INCLUDING METAL FOLDING CHAIRS OR INDOOR FURNITURE
Dead Plants
Coolers of any kind.. (please place them in storage closet)
Garbage Cans or Pails
Mops, Brooms, or Boxes.
Items hanging on railings or rafters (clothes, rugs, towels)
Shoes of any kind (work boots)
Excessive toys
Pet cages
Paint Cans
Gas cans

blah blah etc."

In other words, they are now charging new applicants a lot more than the rest of us, so we need to make it look like the price is worth it. :eyes:
These are after all, "luxury" apts. Some of these I can understand. Some of these are common sense. A couple of them I find ridiculous.

For example in the spring and fall, if we want to hang out on our balcony, we put a sheet up around the railing on the side to keep our privacy. We also have a couple of dead plants :eyes: because we have pots full of dirt and allow whatever will grow, to grow. Gah. Stupid rules.
