GARAGE SALE TOMORROW - SAN FRANCISCO
I don't know if posting this here is allowed, but we are moving out of the country in a week and having a final blowout garage sale at our place, so everything will be super cheap. If anyone lives in the area, please feel free to stop by and help us unload this extra stuff. Lot of kids clothes, Japanese & English books, couch, etc.

It's at 406 Funston Ave. #A (downstairs)
near the intersection of Park Presidio and Geary

Feel free to PM me with any questions.

9. I have some friends who lived there for 40 years.
They were headmaster and librarian at the American School In Japan in Tokyo. They go back there 2 or 3 times a year.

Have fun! uh...what are "Hungry Hungry Hippos"?

Susan :hi:

10. Kid's game.
Was big in the 80s, but they still have it. My kids loved it for a while.

8. Well, Japan is pretty much America's pet puppy at this point...
But our family is over there and they need us, so we are going.

11. But you will not be reading about the decline of Japan everyday
as the decline of America happens under our noses. Everyday here is another hand wringing, shoe dropping, can't take it any more kinda day.

I wish you and your family well.

Japan has the highest public debt in the industrialized world, and a host of other economic problems. I love it dearly, but I have my worries. But America looks to be headed for an economic precipice, too, so what they heck.

At least I can afford rent there (not Tokyo) San Francisco was KILLING me.

Only 6 days to go...

OOPS -shouldn't have kicked this thread - SALE'S OVER!

my damn trees to your heart's content. You and the birds will have a great time. The only damn figs I have now are the dried ones stuck to the bottom of my flip-flops. Hell, I'll even give you the damn fig trees if you want them.
