If you could ask Scientology leaders any one question,
what would it be? I do not intend this as a religion-bashing thread, and I fully defend _anyone's_ right to be _any_ religion they choose. But with publicly-professed beliefs comes public scrutiny, so what would you ask?

My question to Scientology leaders would be, "Since your religion seeks to dictate public health policy for the rest of us, and has declared war on psychiatry and psychiatric drugs, how does that square with the coroner's report that your leader and founder, L. Ron Hubbard, died with his system chockful of anti-anxiety medicine?"

Footnotes:
"But the coroner's report described the father of Scientology as in a state of decrepitude: unshaven, with long, thinning whitish-red hair and unkempt fingernails and toenails. In Hubbard's system was the anti-anxiety drug hydroxyzine (Vistaril), which several of his assistants would later attest was only one of many psychiatric and pain medications Hubbard ingested over the years."

Tom Cruise: Psychiatry Should Be Outlawed
"Movie superstar Tom Cruise has hit out at Hollywood's therapy culture, insisting the practice of psychiatry is a "waste of time" and should be made illegal. While many American stars admit attending regular sessions with probing therapists, Cruise follows the line of thinking adopted by his religion, the controversial Church Of Scientology, and refuses to accept psychiatry as a legitimate form of self-improvement. The actor, 41, says, "I think it's an utter waste of time. There's nothing scientific about it. "Communication is a good thing but I think people get more mentally out of having a good meal or going for a walk. "I think psychiatry should be outlawed. I can't believe electric shock therapy is still used. I think it definitely does more harm than good."

9. So tell me, how is it that you can promote your "religion" as being
compatible with other religions, yet also teach in your 'tech': "The man on the cross? There was no Christ." This via a tape of one of your gurus sermons or whatever you wish to call them.

Also, when you heard L. Ron Hubbard say that he had taken a trip to Venus and almost been hit by a train, did you immediately accept this, or did you first whether it was an Amtrak or commuter rail train?
