Why did you choose the avatar you use?
I chose the state of Nebraska avatar because I want to show there are DUers here.

30. This is a rather poor representation of 'The 1st barrier',
my first step in overcoming the insanity inherit in my mind. Fuck that was a tough time.
Well, the first step in the right direction, that is. I had a few false starts.

Basically, it represents the interlocking variable control I can now exert on my mind, which is composed of three components and a nuclide. (Technically optional; if I don't use the nuclide then I have 3 personalities, but it's not as stable so I don't. And to be 3 'people' (though really they're not a 'person', just a process aggregate) in one body SUCKS. Motor control is a nightmare!)

Sounds batshit crazy huh? Well, I used to (see below) and now I don't, so that's good enough for me.

launched a husband-and-wife advice column for a local newspaper in Massachusetts. We're both parents and stepparents. The column lasted, oh, about three months. So did my husband's toupee.

This is a more recent photo of us, on horseback last month in Arizona, as we celebrated 33 years of wedded blitz, or bliss, depending on the day and the weather! In peace, Radio_Lady

Red state blues. I have the GA 2004 county-by-county election map to show that there are still a lot of Democrats here. I look forward to changing it in 2008 when most of the state turns blue.

Of course, we have all Diebold machines here. For all I know, it may get even redder.

73. We just started at a UU fellowship
here in WI this past summer. My wife and I are both escaped Catholics. Our kids LOVE it. I love it. When someone gets up to respond to the sermon, my first thought is no longer "Oh, man, here comes some stupid crap."

79. Mine used to be different...
I had a little black valentine's day heart with "GET BENT" in blue letters on it. It rocked. But someone mentioned to me once that they thought it was a lot less friendly than I actually am. So I changed to the music notes...I used to be a serious musician and they probably express who I am a bit better. I did switch for a couple of days to the pic of Will Pitt and matcom smooching...but once it stopped being funny I changed back to my music avatar.

93. Right now
mine was grabbed from a TV icon site just to show how much of a Stargate fan I am. I like my avatar to represent something fun in my life. It's one of the few things I can enjoy, considering how the rest of the world is right now.

I change it periodically, and I think the only "political" icon I had was a long time ago when Thomas Jefferson was in its spot.
