Well crap.. It looks like another show I liked is cancelled (Related)

They pretty much tied up loose ends last night.. So now I have nothing worth watching on Monday nights..

3. Oh, sorry to hear that.

I think NBC cancelled one of their only 2 good shows. I'm not sure yet. They haven't officially picked it up for next season yet, so I assumed they will cancel it. It was Surface with the cute little alien named Nimrod. The other good show NBC has is Medium. It was on last night. For the record, I haven't heard of the one you are talking about so I really can't say anything except I'm sorry for you that it was cancelled. Was it a sitcom or drama or what?

5. A "dramady".. 4 grown-up sisters & their families

a la Gilmore Girls.. very smart writing and a great cast..Ah well.. I have come to expect that.. when I like a show, it's the kiss of death:)

7. That has been the rule with me too.

When I like a show, they inevitably take it off the air before it can get its feet wet. The only exception was X-Files. I don't know how it made it. Usually something that was as great as it was in the beginning gets cancelled pronto.

8. and usually they replace it with some lame show

that gets cancelled in a few episodes..

Showtimne did it to us with "Dead Like Me".. It was a fantastic show and only ran 2 seasons.. It was JUST starting to get really good, and they cancelled it..

and that one with Sela Ward..that was a fantastic show too and it got cancelled..

I think I like ensemble shows the best, and of course those are the most expensive to produce because of the numbers of people in them..

Perhaps they need to just announce that a series will run for a specified number of episodes, and give us all a chance to get used to the idea that it will end....and give them a chance to end it gracefully.

6. My daughter liked that show too....

now I'll have to break the news to her about it being cancelled. We find ourselves watching less and less TV. We were always sitcome fanatics, but there isn't much out there anymore that we find enjoyable to watch.

Or is it moving to Showtime? I love that show!
