1. Terrific show. A classic.
It's amazing how terrifying an ordinary weather balloon can be.

Of course, it's been many years since I've seen it. Maybe I was just an easily-frightened kid back then.

2. One of the best things ever on television, anywhere
I love The Prisoner.

I don't understand it -- neither does Patrick McGoohan -- but I love even that (very Taoist!).

4. I believe Number Six WAS Number One... thoughts?
I hope Patrick McGoohan leaves the answer to be published after his death...

5. Sorry but... crap
I picked up the series on DVD never having seen it but having heard how great it was. I thought it was just awful, one of the worst purchases I've made.

16. Can't, sorry
Last September a friend from MA visited me and he was going nuts about the box set, so I gave it to him. Sorry

9. Great show, until the last episode.
That last episode stunk on ice.

Got the DVD set.

Loved it then love it still.

Yeah the ending was absolutely crazy but it still worked for me.

Schizoid Man and Living in Harmony are my favorite episodes.

11. From what I've seen (about half of the episodes), it's a great show
I need to find the time to finish watching it.

12. Absolutely a classic.
I found it very creepy when I was a kid, especially that balloon thing that chased people around.

But Patrick McGoohan was so cool in The Prisoner and in Secret Agent (U.S. title).

13. I'd like to see it again because
its been sooo many years... but I remember the ending seemed to fit and was an allegory about finding ones inner primal self--something about a monkey mask I remember ... and finding that 1 is "I" Well, maybe you had to be on acid for it to make sense.

Be seeing you!

15. And don't forget, it inspired a classic Iron
Maiden song "The Prisoner" complete with the shows intro speech serving as the intro for the song. Y'know, the whole "Who is NUMBER ONE?" thing. My older brother put that on our parents answering machine!

We want information...information...information...(maniacal laughter)

I must say we really confused tha Aunts and Uncles with that!

19. I watched it in the original run, but only remember reruns.
It was great because it was odd. It kept us guessing, and never went for the typical (at the time) Hollywood wrap-up. Neat stuff.
